Montague County Child Welfare Board
The Montague County Child Welfare Board was established to aid neglected and abused children in Montague County by providing health, welfare, educational and social needs, and to assist foster parents and Child Protective Services in aiding the children under their care. The MCCWB also provides an emergency resource room in Bowie stocked with clothing, cleaning supplies, school supplies and toys for those in need - as well as provides financial support for Patsy's House, a Child Advocacy Center in Bowie.

Texas Workforce Solutions Child Care Services
This child care program subsidizes child care for low-income families, promoting long-term self-sufficiency by enabling parents to work or attend workforce training or educational activities. It also educates parents about the availability of quality child care, which enhances children's early learning.

Montague County 4-H
Part of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, the 4-H Club serves youth ages nine through 19 years old, and provides programs to develop citizenship, leadership and life skills through "hands-on" learning programs. May 4-H members compete and advance to the levels where they can win scholarships to help further their education.
